Internet Day.

I have recently found a handy page that deals with early American History and the criminal justice issues.

One of the cool things that I like about the internet is the amount of good info that is avalible. And so on today, Christmas day we need to celebrate internet day. Today is the anniversiery of the of the internet.

Well I hope that you have a good day.

Missile Silos

i was headed to mount rushmore . . . and we were spending a day or three there. We went to Rapid City and bought a water filter for the RV.

Of course on the way there . . . there is a minuteman missile silo historical monument. There you can go inside of an old missile silo. Well worth seeing on your way from Wall Drug to Rapid City and Mount Rushmore.

Well I hope that you have a great day. Go out and see some history.

Looking For That

I often wonder what the future will look at for us. I mean when looking back how will be evluatd and understood. What will people make of cubic zirconia engagement rings as compared to other precious diamonds.

I actually did give zirconia ring. It was a great ring and she loved it.

Well I hope that you have a great day.

What The Beatles THought

Kinda odd how do you define a revolution? That does not include girls shorts for muslims? A friend of mine just gave this to me as part of his final exam for a test.

Now how does this stack up? He wrote:
A revolution is a sudden, usually violent, change of a governmental system, which has lasting change, that is brought on by officials, systems and economic issues, where the people rise up encouraging the critical mass of people that are needed for a revolution to occur.

Iran and Revolution pt 2

One of the odd things about the Iranian Revolution is the Ayatollah Khomeini is that he had little direct influance upon the revolution proper. He mostly came in after the revolution was over and there was a massive power vaccum to fill. He never expected to see msm supplement or revolution in his country during his lifetime.

Last note: the Ayatollah Khomeini was in France during the Revolution.

Iran and Revolution pt 1

History is such an odd thing. I recently read a book on the Iranian Revolution of 1979. We in the United States often know and remember the post revolution. This book basically gives a colovexus reviews of the second worst president ever, Jimmy Carter.

Carter was all about human rights.

However, he dod not follow or live up to the human rights that he promised.

Moe about that later.

Revolution.

Just like the top 10 diet pills I have been taking a class on the 20th Century Revolutions.

Kinda of a cook class.

Some of it has changed my mind of how I view revolutions from a global persepevtive. I mean the results from Mexico are just amazing. I will talk about that in the future.

The hardest were of course Guatemala and Iran. After all we were knee deep in both and neither ended the way you would want

Have a great day.

Shah of Iran

I recall the Shah of Iran as a student while in high school. Of course one of the odd things that I found out. The Shah had come to the US seeking medical care, not weightlosstablets.

As it turns out in his autobiography The shah denied ever coming to the US and receiving medical treatment. He did come to the US without question. I remember the reports at the time told us people that the Shah recieved medical treatment.

Hav e a good day.

Obama as Shivia

Here is one for you. I am worried about the future people looking at us. Between the TSA and now Obama as Shivia.
I wonder how this will make people feel about Obama. I think this is horrid. The title is God of all things. Obama is not anything close to a god in any way shape or form.

This is just horrid. This image gets me so mad. I will say that the color looks good and wonder if they used laserjet 2840 toner.

Well I hope that you have a most happy day and get moving on life.

Remember the Future

One of the problems that we have is how to record things for 500 years from now. We used to write in books and in letters. Now we write on the computers and store things on DVD and blu ray movies.

The the question remains how to pass on this legacy to our heirs. I have noticed they are still not to sure how to do this. So if you come up with a way to store the net and everything else let me know.

Have a good day.

This week and Results

Wow this week was a good week. Amazing how much history happened. The Republicans have just creamed the dems, I doubt that we will ever see anything like this ever again in my or your lifetime.

I was watching the news under the Casablanca fans that were whirring away and making predictions based on results.

It amazes me how many dem strong holds fell. Memphis, and IL., and Iowa, and just wow. Looking at the map bled red is just amazing.

I will talk more about this later.

Have a great day.

News?

It is amazing reading the news and to see what is not in the news:

9/11 Mosque --- no longer in the news
Deficts --- no longer in the news
Health Insurance --- is no longer in the news
GM and Chrysler --- are both no longer on the headlines

What is in the news:
Politico making up news
Tons of cheating
George Bush being a scumbag
CBS Making up news

I would at this point rather hear a story on an iphone warranty. At least that would be useful.

I wonder why some are out and some are in? Could it be to help the election of dems?

Eddie!

Okay so a little of my own personal history. I used to a big fan of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I mean a big fan. I was eddie. So yes, sweet patote bless my soul I really love that rock and roll.

SO while I was looking at some old pictures of me as eddie, I saw that I was using a tone makeup including under eye cream as well as other such things that you would use for Rocky Horror.

Well what brought this was up was hte stoopid show the glee club. What a waste of 1.99 getting it from the itunes store.

Sports - Footballers

Look at all the old football players from the 20s and 30s. Most of them were smaller than I am today. Today I am trying to increase muscle mass and lose weight.

The 20s and 30s as I talked about earlier there would be better training and people would be able to better atheletes.

Well just a wondering. and i mean wondering

I hope that you have a most happy day.

Sports - Babe Ruth

I have wondered what sports would be like in the past with the differing supplements that people use today that are like the hgh items we have today.

I wonder with the better training we have today how much better people especially like Babe Ruth would have been. After all he drank and smoked all the time. Since everyone else did that at the time, well he was able to overcome those negatives.

Well I hope that you have a good day.

61 could have been 70.
714 could have been 800.

We Shall Overcome.

There are some serious blackheads on nose of Harry Reid. Harry is the Senate Majority Leader and he is saying that he is responsible for the Economic Crisis that we are in. He said that he saved the world. Let me see.

Canada is doing great and growing.
China is doing well.
Many countries are doing well economically.

I hope that you have a good day. And remember that we can overcome anything, we are Americans.

Secretariat Pt 1

I watched the movie Secreitart on Tuesday night. What a great movie and a great horse. While my students who need the best treatment for acne are in class we discussed how to write a good essay.
I came up with a the basics:

Title: Secretariat the Heart of a Royal Champion
Thesis: Secretariat was one of the greatest athletes of all time.
Pt 1 Secretariat had the background of a champion.
Pt 2 Secretariat against all odds won the triple crown.
Pt 3 Secretariat has been honored as a great athlete.
Transition Sentence: Sometimes a great champion is born.

Window

We were recently out shopping and looking at VeloBind. I saw one style that was Roman. It is was so cool and reminded me what I saw when I was in Rome.

I tried to convinving her that we needed that one. No such luck. I am quite happy with what we have now. So I guess she was right. Oh well, next time I may get my way.

Have a great day.

Firestone's RV

I was impressed that Ford and a few others had RVs. One of the people who had one was Firestone. Now granted the thing is that there should be cleansonix reviews so the thing could be cleaned.

This thing had a sink and other things in it. I am really impressed with the RV type truck. Well go and take a look and read the really cool article.

Have a great day.

look at the future

I have several friends who have started to retire or have been injured and are having problems recieving their social security benefits. Most have had problems getting their SSI approved. Now I'm sure that this is not they had in mind when started social security.

I just wish that the goverenment would get their act together and do what they are supposed to do.

Have a good day.

Robin Hood Movie

I have really enjoyed the Robin Hood that Ridley Scott has brought us. I think that it does a good job of capturing many of the things and way that things were done then. The Bandits, thieves, serfs, and nobles.

Even if they need to have eczema treatments for themselves. I still like this movie.

Of course at the start of the movie . . . why is the barn outside of the walls. I also like that it meantions that Richard not such a good guy.

Have a good day.

Liberty

I know like many other people I need to learn how to reduce belly fat. However, the government telling me I need to is another thing. If I want to be fat that is my own right and own liberty. People have the right to be who and what they want to be and what they want to look like. The idea of the government telling me what to do and how to live would be an anathema to our founding fathers.

C-C-C-Ch-Ch-Changes

I have been thinking about the past 15 years and the Internet. The amazing changes over the past many years. We went from needing an insurance agent and waiting days for a quote to now having an online insurance quotes and getting a quote in seconds. Or the other ones . . .

We can order groceries and have them delivered ASAP. I can find a book and have it delivered overnight. I can quickly look up information on the SD House Race and receive information quickly.

Being the empiricist

Over the years I have become more of an empiricist then I have ever been. I like to see proof of what people say. As an example if someone asks are diet pills safe I want real proof. So I have to search and read. On the issue of history I want to see what is actually true. I mean people will say all kinds of things. So I want real empirical evidence that what people say is true.

OF course what happens is that I can get in trouble being an empiricist

Have a most happy day.

First Time Drive

Before there were car insurance companies we had to have cars. Have you ever thought about the first generation of people to purchase cars?

These people first had to learn how to drive a car before they bought. Now that would be an experience for the salesmen at the time.

Just one of those fin things to wonder about as you go out for a test drive.

Finding Life

I was in class earlier this month and we were discussing war. One of the kids brought in from another class (good) about term life insurance online and other such items. He wanted to know if you could get insurance if you were in the army. I explained that most insurance polices are exempt against warfare. However the army has their own program for soldiers. So it is okay as it was really cheap (when I was in).

Have a really good day.

Simple things

It is amazing at how much we like history when we do our Christmas cards every year. People love calling back to the perceived simpler times and better things. Pictures like Rockwell and Burl and Ives recall what we want.

Yet the funny part is that for the rest of the year most people despise what Rockwell represents. A time of family, love of country, and morality. Just one of those funny things about Americans.

I wonder how many would go back if they could. Just to have things a little less complex. Yet the truth is that past was very complex just like today.

have a great day

Railroad and more fun

I was talking about with students about how the railroad changed America. Sears of course was one of the great users of the railroad. He started by purchasing a few pocket watches and selling them on the railroad. He then took the sales jobs to the catalog.

With the railroad he was able to ship to everywhere in the nation from their spot in Chicago.

Have a great day.

Teacher and Other Things

While teaching history I find that I have other things that I get saddled with. One of the things is GED and helping some students to get through the GED. The other one that is more is helping students with their sat prep. I have one student that is doing really well right now on studying and making progress.

From a teacher the best way is study some each day about an hour. Do not cram on the last day.

Have a good day.

Viva' La' Revolution

Time for new courses and classes. This time around I am taking classes on 20th cent revolutions. viva la revolutions.

This first one is about Iran
The Unthinkable Revolution in Iran

Number is about Russian Revolution from a first hand account by a US reporter, who did have some serious pro-communist feelings.
Ten days that Shook the World (Penguin Classics)

This one looks at the big revolutions of China and Russia.
States and Social Revolutions: A Comparative Analysis of France, Russia and China

Lastly we have the Mexican Revolution.
Villa and Zapata: A History of the Mexican Revolution

I find it odd that the African ones are missing as are several others.

Kids Toys

One of the fun things that there is in life is getting toys for kids. This weekend I went to an event that showered some really old kids toys from the 1800s.

This was a really good show seeing how small and how minor these toys are compared by today's standards.

Some of the small dolls are just amazing and how small they are. I really wonder about how the kids felt and how much they like them.

Have a most happy day.

The Mob

Okay so a sidestep from history. I was playing that silly game, mafia wars. What i found funny. if you rob you can earn a maglite led flashlights. Why is that? Who knows. All the really cool things that you can earn . . . you get a flashlight. Oh well Not to sure what that really means.

Well I hope that you have a most happy day. And friend me on facebook and be part of my mafia.

Changes in Life

We often question why is life expectancy not greatly increasing. Many people who are still alive can recall when life expectancy was in the 50s. Well what does it take to change?

Fix sanintation and clean up the water supply. These two are linked together. The other main thing to help is childbirth. I have to confess that womens vitamins really help in this area, for obvious reasons. Lastly we have to help the infant death rate. Well we fixed all these in 30s through the 50s. Now we deal in the margins.

Sunday, July 11, 2010

Kid of Karate

I watched the new Karate Kid movie, the one with Will Smith's rugrat. I really liked the movie and how it developed the kid. I really liked how the way of fighting was done. Much better then the first. Of course I really liked whole coat thing.

Of course one of the problem is that I noticed that none o the people needed to have belly fat reduction. Of course the one real problem with the movie. I want to go to China more so then ever.

The Story of US

I hope that many of you get a chance to America: The Story of Us. IT covers the story of the United States from American Indians through all the differing inventions and war till today. It covers all kinds things, including some inventions like prototype 37c and lights and cars.

I really like how the story moves and the pictures that it shows. When you get a chance to watch it, please take a few hours and watch it. Not to mention you take the DVD when it comes out.

200 years from now

I have been watching Two and Half Men on TV. I have to confess that none of the girls on the TV show need any fat burning pills. This is a cery funny show. What I am figuring out is that I like Chuck Lorry as a writer and producer. So far everything that he has done is quite funny.

Of course the real question. 200 years from now when they figure out how to read DVDs what will this say about our civilization.

Wrastleing

Today I watched a video on 'pro' wrestling and the message that it gives. As an example, they talked about all the homo-erotic tension. The women who need to have anti wrinkle face cream and are wrestling the guys and normally getting beat up and wearing very little clothes.

I mean really, should we encourage the beating of women and demanding that they do exactly as we tell them. Then beat them and have them say it is their fault. I think not.

eating Cake

Marie Antoinette is one of my favorite figures in history, I am still convinced that she used tons of wrinkle cream to help her look good. I do hope that her saying, let them cake is a real saying.

Besides that she was quite the lady and her husband was well . . . quite the other ladies man.

After all I think Marie and King Louis have many similarities to this time and age. Well I hope that you have a great day and remember, Let them eat cake.

Good News

Well Those who want to working their burning belly fat there is good news. It does happen and does work. I have a co-worker who has lost 147 pounds over the past year. He has been doing this under the doc and is doing great. Make me motivated to do lose more and more weight.

Well I hope that you have a most happy day.

Soften Hands

It is quite funny going on youtube looking at old commercials. One thing I can tell you is that the advertising body has changed. Back then they were not worried about quickweightloss.org. I mean they had normal sized people who were hawking products. I mean just look at Mage who did Palmolive dish soap. After all it softened hands as she did the dishes.

I still laugh at these things.

Wednesday, June 2, 2010

Lasting

I have been looking through many of my old pictures that I took in Europe and what amazed me is many of the people do not need best wrinkle cream that is out there.

Must be nice to have a painter instead of a photographer, I mean the photographer will capture every single defect on film forever and ever. And then with the internet, the picture will last forever and ever.

Well I hope that you have a good day.

Pain It helps us think.

I often wonder why I would ever want a treatment for hemorrhoids that did not work. Which then leads to the question . . . what else would I want to not want to have.

Pain. We have would have to confess that we really prefer to not feel pain. So many people, myself included, do not want pain so we have items so simple from Tylonel to heavier duty items like morphine.

Just a thought on life and pain.

Monday, May 31, 2010

John Kellogg

I am looking at history of people who are taking diets. Of course Kellogg was a big believer in diets. Today, Well I am really amazed at all the differing diets that are out there. I mean look at differing kinds: low carb, low fat, hcg diet, and many many others, most of these started with Kellogg.

Kellogg was featured in a movie called The Road to Wellville. The Road to Wellville is a really good movie and if you want a view of Kellogg I would suggest that you check out the movie.

I hope that you have a most happy day.

Terracotta Who?

I was talking recently to people while on my outdoor furniture about the Terracotta warriors in China. What amazed me was how little people know about them. Most people had not even heard about the Terracotta Warriors at all. My son brought me some small statues of them, so I took them to show them because they are so cool.

Most people had no idea that these were life size statues made to guard the emperors tomb. Just amazing.

Have a most happy day.

Nat Tresure

One of my favorite things about National Tresure movies is when they sneak into the white house and into the queens study to look at the office furniture that has been there for years.

While I am often asked about the truthfullness of the templers and all that such part of the movie. The kids forget that the movie tells alot about American history and they do not want to see it.

Well I hope that you have a great day.

Trying to throw.

We have been trying to find more fat burners that actually work. I have been walking about a mile a day trying to burn more fat. The course that I walk on is really nice. Oh yeah it is a disc golf course, and I love to throw the disc and then go pick and toss into the basket for a solid putt.

Of course today, I nailed it into the tree. Have a most happy day.

Spring?

I find part of the oddness of this Spring (or lack there of) to be an extra cause of dry skin. I would love to have a better treatment of eczema for my still dry skin from the winter. I mean my skin is still quite messed up.

I mean this spring we have had snow in May. Much more coldness, it is has been so cold and the heat is running in May which is crazy.

Well I hope that you have a great day and warmer.

Thursday, May 13, 2010

Washington

So there we are on the way to capitol building in Washington DC. Now I love going to the great momuments in our country. My wife had forgotten her apidexin and we of course had to order some to get there overnight to the hotel.

We still got to all the things we wanted to see, my personal favorite was the Jefferson memorial. Of course I htink TF was the greatest president ever.

It was still a great visit to the capitol. Have a great week end there.

Sleep Well.

One of the funny and odd things with the past is that we do not realize how easy we have it. Today we have a really nice mattress that we may complain about.

In the past people would use hay. Or feathers from a bird for the mattress. Thins about how ahrd that one would be on you. Always betting pricked. I am glad that we live at the time we do.

Well I hope you sleep well tonight.

Monday, April 26, 2010

Hawking

Well I was wathcing the new Stephen Hawking show that discussed Aliens. And he said something that made the weight loss pills shoot right out of me.

If there are aliens with really cool technology do not expect them to be nice. The odds of them coming in peace would be small. After all look what Chrisopher Columbus did to the New World, as Hawking says, it did not turn our to well for the natives.

So this raises the question. Why do we keep trying to get aliens to see us. I am not to sure.

Well I hope that you have a good day.

Friday, April 23, 2010

Why this or that.

I would love to study surfing and the hows and why of surfing. I think it would be a cool study. How am I a Dungeons and Drangons site the over to slashdot.org and then find myself at http://www.weightlosspills.net with just a click. The question would be how to understand the why of the change.

I look at my own habits and am not even sure why I end up where i do. I mean sometimes it seems so random. I know that google and other companies are trying to understand the why. Why do they want to know. Becasue there is commercial value in it. Why does Obama not regulate this? Uhmmm . .. maybe casue they gave piles of money to Obama.

Forms of Beauty

We were talking about the some of the Greek Statues in class today and how the Greeks looked at perfection. One of the students pointed out that none of the girls needed tol have acne cream. This then brought out a second question about American views of beauty. And why do women shave their legs?

Esp. when it is thought that not one European woman does. Of course many in Europe do shave their legs and such. Shaving legs and pits appears to come from the ancient Babaylonians. Yes that many many years ago. It was the time of Daniel in the Bible.

Have a happy day.

Getting Rid of the Junk

I recently found out that two people from my high school, who did drugs have had two very differing experiences while trying to get off. Both of these kids from high school were some of the more serious dopers.

Tim (not her real name) spent a week kicking the habit. He goes around and talks with people about the detox program and what he went through. To be honest, hearing him talk about the detox process would be more then enough to keep me off drugs.

Then there is Jim (not real name) he went through rapid detox program. Now I had no clue what that was until I saw it on TV. Essentially it is a painless process where you go under the mask and are out for several hours. His opinion was the longer the better up to about 8 hours or so. This allows you to get your body rid of the junk that is in your body.

Jim talks about the process in good and positive terms. He was thrilled with the process. The ability to overcome the physical addiction was great. He still needed help and counseling to stay off the drugs, drugs are also psychologically addicting. Most people need the help of others to stay off the drugs even though the body does not need them. Jim called me and asked me to help, which I did, as an accountability partner. Which really shocked me as I never did drugs. He called me every single day sometimes twice. He knew I was no nonsense and would not accept the least amount of thought on drugs. I am glad to say that Jim has been drug free for over a year. Jim really credits the rapid detox that helped him kick start his road to recovery.

Getting Free History Classes

One of the great thing about MP3 players is the ability to listen to college classes via podcasts.

U.C. Berkley has some of the best classes avalible for you to listen to. There have been American History, Roman History, Ancient History, Geography, and of course Econ. So many classes in many ways so little time. It takes two days for me to listen to one class. Still worth the ability to recieve knoweldge.

Well I hope that you have a great day and go listen to some history.

Reading Hard Things.

At one point I went to this old house that was at one time owned by someone sort of famous. This was all part of a class. When we got to this house that over 200 years old, the prof said they had problems doing upkeep with the house becasue of the discount door hardware and other issues that had happened.

Actually that class was a pile of fun. I leanred how to do all kinds of things and I loved going through the old cemtaries. We would try to understand and read what the headstones said. It is was not an easy task.

My Old MGB.

I wonder what it would have been like to have mechanical breakdown insurance on my old MGB. I mean this thing was as reliable as herion addict. I could see it now.

You want to insure a what? That would be like having a car accident and then asking for accident insurance. Oh hold it, wait a second that is what we are doing with health care.

Fanklin said that once the people figured out they could vote themselves a raise the republic would be over.

I am concerend that day has come.

Snow on the Ground . . . Grrrrrrrr.

I have been playing many differing wii games over this past winter.

I have to say that I am glad that spring is here and I can get outside without the snow on the ground. The worst part is that today was above 70 degrees . . . the worst part is that snow is still on little parts of the ground.

Oh yeah the snow that is left is in a parking lot that has direct sunlight all day long.

I hope that you have a great day.

Anothe Test post

Here is another test that I am trying to understand how blogger works and to make it work better.

After all I want to understand how it all works just a little bit more, after all I made a boo-boo on moving my domain over to a new place so I have to work and keep there for an extra month.

I hope that you have a most happy day and enjoy life to the fullest.

Here is an edit for the testing.

Bracket killer

Wow a number one seed loses in NCAA toruney. That is why you play the game. Any team can beat any other team on any given day. Hence the name of the movie: "Any Given Sunday." So the loss of Kansas is like busting up your diet aids.

I did not watch the game . . . nor did I care. However, it was top news and a lot of my facebook people were complaining. The worst part is that the group of people at work who were already crying over their brackets.

Well I hope you are not crying over your brackets.

The funny part is that Obama picked Kansas. Every team Obama picks loses.

Glass Menagerie

Tonight I went out to see The Glass Menagerie. What a depressing play. Obvious none of the actors needed a quick weight loss system. The acting was good especially in the second half. The first half just seemed to go on and on.

The worst part for the actors was that they has a small audience. The theater holds about 400+ people and they only had about 20 people there total. In any case kudos to the performers.

Still a sad play. The worst part was the mom. My wife asked me if she was that bad. Did not answer the question.

Have a most happy day.

Insurnace

One of the problems with nationalized health insurance is that people compare it with car insurance. There is a difference. First, you are not required to have a car. Therefore, you do not have to have car insurance.

One of the best ways to decrease payments for health coverage is to open and have compention and allow health insurance companies to sell across state lines, we can see great examples of free market car insurance is carinsurancelist.com.

If you wish to see the current list of people and how they are voting for this health bill on Code Red.

I hope that you have a great day.

Winter

This winter has made me glad that I live in the moderen times. I mean I have nice forced heat air, double pane glass, and DELETE to stay warm with.

This winter has been a doozey. I have had pictures of beaches and warmth all around telling me to stay warm. The winter is quite depressing. I am so glad that it is almost over and some warm days have come back.

This is one of the coldest most snowy winters in history. If this was Larua Ingelss time we would have had the Long Winter.

Have a good one and stay warm.

Used Plastic

I love getting the best used golf balls to use on the course. This also goes true for plastic for disc golf. I find that used plastic is really great. The nice thing about used plastic discs is that they are usually broken in.

I have found that used discs can sometimes have problems. In particular, I bought a used DX Beast disc that was a little on the tacoed side. This means that it was bent in half one time to many.

So make sure you check out the disc you buy.

Have a great day.

Learning even more

One of the things that I have enjoyed about doing the play M*A*S*H* is seeing how other people do things. One guy is in real need of a joint pain supplement to help him get up and down.

The best part of the show, for me, is a display we have set up in the hallway. The display is about the kids aka war orphans and how the GIs interacted with them. If you ever get to Springfield IL make sure you check out the Korean War Musem.

Well I hope that you have a great day.

The Dream

I was watching a fun TV show called UNDERCOVER BOSS. The premise is simple. The boss of a big company wants to find out what is really going on. Of course they do mostly retail places like Hooters and 711. One of the best things on this was the adipex review and this guy named Igor.

Igor came to America recently with only $50 in pocket. All he could do was praise America and the land of opportunity.

Made me glad to be an American. I hope that we will keep being the land of opportunity Where a person can come with a dream. The American Dream.

The Wash

When I looking at some of the old pictures I wonder about how people have been able to get rid of belly fat in the past. In many ways we live such differing lives then what there used to be in America.

Of course the changes come from technology. Simple ones as moving from a washboard to a washing machine. Of course you can also go to a dry cleaner and get things washed even more. These changes are just amazing.

In any case have a most happy day!

Mr. Embarrassment

History is being written right now. I wonder what they will say about hair loss treatments used by Joe "Plugs" Biden. Actually, I would love to have a biography that will show all the stoopid comments that Plugs has used.

I mean this guy is an embarrassment always condridict himself, making fun of cripples. What a great and positive guy this one is. Well the most intresting thing is that there is a rumor that Plugs will go to the Supreme Court and Hil-Bil will take over as VP. Now that would be fun.

Well I hope that you have a great day in your life.

Failure

One of my favorite places that I used to shop was circuit city and I am bummed that they closed down the retail stores.

It was only shortened by the closing of the CompUSA which was a real bummer. Now wehre I live there are no computer stores left. Which may be a good thing as I spend to much money on computer junk.

However, this is a good lesson economics. If a store fails it should be allowed to.

There is no such thing as something that is to big to fail. This would also include car companies.

Have a good day.

Future Rama Bonga

I am wondering how we will be seen by future generations. Between budgets, loss of freedoms and the moron box I wonder if people will remember us for all the NJ Cosmetic dentist or will be remembered for some of our philosophy and other good items.

Well I hope that you are contributing to the betterment of people and to that of society. I was watching some videos which 'gettoed' the peanuts and wonder does that really help. I actually found the whole thing sad.

Well I hope you have a great day.

SOTU Comments

Our most urgent task upon taking office was to shore up the same banks that helped cause this crisis. It was not easy to do. And if there's one thing that has unified Democrats and Republicans, and everybody in between, it's that we all hated the bank bailout. I hated it -- (applause.) I hated it. You hated it. It was about as popular as a root canal. (Laughter.)

How did Obama hate the bank bailout? He now has a whipping boy that he can bea any time he wants?

In reality I think we were lied to about the bailout.

But when I ran for President, I promised I wouldn't just do what was popular -– I would do what was necessary. And if we had allowed the meltdown of the financial system, unemployment might be double what it is today. More businesses would certainly have closed. More homes would have surely been lost.

Well let’s see, unemployment is higher then you said it would be! It was not to go over 8% and now it is over 10% and the U6 number around 18%.

So I supported the last administration's efforts to create the financial rescue program. And when we took that program over, we made it more transparent and more accountable. And as a result, the markets are now stabilized, and we've recovered most of the money we spent on the banks. (Applause.) Most but not all.

It is Bush’s fault (as always). The problem is that the markets were correcting. I am sure he knows nothing about this. This is good that the banks returned the money with intrest. Can we get the car companies and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to do the same.

To recover the rest, I've proposed a fee on the biggest banks. (Applause.) Now, I know Wall Street isn't keen on this idea. But if these firms can afford to hand out big bonuses again, they can afford a modest fee to pay back the taxpayers who rescued them in their time of need. (Applause.)

So now that they returned the money . . . you want to tax them. Why? The people who should be taxed are car companies and Freddie and Fannie. Stop on your class hate. Please accept a Branson vacation packages and go have a nice time and leave us alone.

State of Union: The Parsing, Pt 3

Part One of the State of the Union Text is here

This recession has also compounded the burdens that America's families have been dealing with for decades –- the burden of working harder and longer for less; of being unable to save enough to retire or help kids with college.

One of the reasons that we cannot save is because of the taxes that are imposed. There is no such thing as taxes being paid for by a company.

Only people pay taxes. All taxes are passed along to end users.

So I know the anxieties that are out there right now. They're not new. These struggles are the reason I ran for President. These struggles are what I've witnessed for years in places like Elkhart, Indiana; Galesburg, Illinois. I hear about them in the letters that I read each night. The toughest to read are those written by children -– asking why they have to move from their home, asking when their mom or dad will be able to go back to work.

Back to letters from kids. He must read thousands of these things . . . or at least ha what we are led to believe. I could just see Obama up there reading letters from the local waifs.

For these Americans and so many others, change has not come fast enough. Some are frustrated; some are angry. They don't understand why it seems like bad behavior on Wall Street is rewarded, but hard work on Main Street isn't; or why Washington has been unable or unwilling to solve any of our problems. They're tired of the partisanship and the shouting and the pettiness. They know we can't afford it. Not now.

Now this is a funny one. We do not need the change. In historical terms every recession has ended by now. The recession should have ended in July. Yet it is only growing deeper.

Actually only good behavior is rewarded on Wall Street.

In the real workd foods that burn fat are rewaded and poor ones like on WS are fired and not used.
In Congress, bad behavior is rewarded. Just ask Barney Frank; have rules that require banks have to loan o people who cannot pay it back.

This is where it is bad.

PhD loses

Well at least the natural weight loss supplement has not gone to my brain like that PhD student in History who was on Jepordy the other day.

He did not get a question he should have gotton. If I was his prof I (or worse yet his student) I would ride him hard. The great migration, what an idiot.

Well I guess any moron can get a PhD these days.

Have a most happy day.

While sutdents are worrying about acne solutions that actually work, I am concerned about things in the white house.

Did you know that since Mimi Eisenhower was the first, first lady who had an aide which was paid out of the salary of the president.

Till Hilary Clinton each first lady had one.

Mamie Eisenhower: One
Jackie Kennedy: One
Roseline Carter: One
Barbara Bush: One
Hilary Clinton: Three
Laura Bush: One
Michele Obama: Twenty-two

What is the problem with this list. The current first lady has 22. Why is this and why does she need 22?

this would be a good thing for congress to look at.

Inventions

I am sometimes asked by students what is the greatest invention ever made.

I come up with answers that surprise the kids. They often think TV, cars, the light bulbs, and often the phonograph.

I think the best thing item ever invented was anesthetics. Pain medication like the hemorrhoids pain relief that are needed. After all who wants to feel pain.

Have a great day

US in Haii

Here is a new idea on an old theme. France is accusing Obama of occupying Haiti. The funny thing is this is what I sort of thought of when I saw the articles.

Of course if Obama was serious of helping Haiti . . . he would have done so already. While supplies trickle in and exscusing like the best slimming pill are stacking up . . . Obama could have done more.

1. Day One: Drop in the 82nd Airborne (or 101st) with food and supplies. Did this happen? No.

2. Day Two: Airlift and parachute in more suppliesof medicne, food and water. I mean after all we did the Berlin Airlift.

3. Day Three: Obama could have sent in the Navy Seebees to build a new harbor and dock. Not like they have experiance in that.

Just some ideas.

MLK Day 2010

This is the first time the US is having an MLK birthday with a black president. I have been watching a tape of an interview with MLK. Of course I have students in the classroom and tthey do not really lilke this video and would rather be in a Cozumel Hotels then having to make an extra snow day.

This interviewer is actually pretty darn good.

Well i hope that you have a great day.

Kirk

I know that William Shatner aka Capt. Kirk, uses some discount rugs up on top. So I wonder why does Shatner use a rug rather then just age gracefully.

I was watching him on his Raw Nerve show and I have to say it looks pretty darn good. Now that the orginal Star Trek cast is dying off I hope that Capt. Kirk can keep on going for many years to come.

Have a great day.

Copyright and the Democrats.

While the costs of NC short term health insurance have been going down, the cost of intellectual property goes up.

One of the problems is the number of books and other items that should have been up for public domain have narrowed to none.

The democrats in 1978 made sure they protected the corporate overlords so nothing would ever come out of copyright. It was often called the Disney Copyright protection.

Well I hope that you have a most happy day.
