When looking at history there are always small things that one looks at and can even specialize in as a historian. For example a technology historian. When looking at the modern world I wonder what types of historians we will spawn in 1000 years when looking back.
For example, what if a DELETED was unearthed. Will they even have a clue. Or will coffee have passed from the world.
